This text is to inform you of your rights in connection with the collection of your personal data.

According to Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required to provide you with certain information when we collect personal data from you.

3.    Purposes of and legal basis for processing your personal data
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
•    To assess applications for the Deep Green Innovators programme and to inform applicants whether they have been accepted.
•    To send relevant and necessary materials to programme participants, particularly in connection with the individual workshops.
The legal basis for our processing of your personal data is:
•    Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

 

4.    Categories of personal data
We process the following categories of personal data about you:
•    Ordinary personal data:
o    Name
o    Email address
o    Phone number
o    Gender
o    Age
o    City

 

5.    Recipients or categories of recipients
If you are accepted into the Deep Green Innovators programme, we will potentially disclose your name to Meta Ireland and LinkedIn Ireland, as your name might be mentioned in our subsequent posts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

 

6.    Retention of your personal data
We retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes of the data processing. We consider the data necessary for as long as you are enrolled in the Deep Green Innovators programme.
Your personal data will be deleted at an earlier stage if you are not accepted into the Deep Green Innovators programme.
When the personal data is no longer necessary for processing, it will be anonymised, transferred to the Danish National Archives, or deleted.

 

7.    Right to withdraw consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You may do so by contacting us using the contact details listed above in section 1.
Withdrawing your consent does not affect the legality of our processing of your personal data based on your previously given consent up until the time of withdrawal. Therefore, the withdrawal only takes effect from the time it is made.

 

8.    Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights in relation to our processing of your personal data.

Right of access
You have the right to access the personal data we process about you and to obtain supplementary information.
Right to rectification
You have the right to have inaccurate personal data about you corrected.


Right to erasure
In certain circumstances, you have the right to have personal data about you erased before our general deletion schedule.


Right to restriction of processing
In certain situations, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data. If you are entitled to restriction, we may only process your data – apart from storage – with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or for the protection of a person or important public interests.


Right to object
In certain cases, you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data. You can also object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.


Right to data portability
In certain cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have this data transferred from one data controller to another without hindrance.

9.    Complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency
